The Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement serves as a convener for campus and community to help solve and problems in the St. Louis region and beyond; connecting community members to the human capital of Washington University; and catalyzing students, faculty, and staff across the university towards effective practices in the community. Our mission is to cultivate informed and actively engaged citizens through our signature initiatives and programs. Initiatives supported by the institute include sustained community partnerships, co-curricular service; community engaged teaching international service, and programs promoting civic life and leadership. We are humbled to host the 2017 IMPACT Conference and we can’t wait to share the rich history, culture and community of St. Louis!
